What is the FL-105?
FL-105 is California's child custody jurisdiction declaration. Officially, it is the Declaration Under Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act . It tells the court where each child has lived for the last five years, so the judge can confirm California is the right state to decide custody.
You list each child, where they have lived, and who they lived with at each address. You also disclose any other court case about these children, any restraining orders in effect, and anyone outside the case who has the children or claims custody or visitation. Where domestic violence or child abuse is alleged, an address can be kept confidential and only the state given.
